Specialized Treatment for Anxiety, Phobias, OCD, and Related Disorders
Finding the right help for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) or phobias is rarely straightforward. Many people spend years seeking relief, cycling through clinicians, before discovering evidence-based care. My work is built on the conviction that no one should have to wander that long. I am committed to helping individuals — and their families — break free from the patterns that keep them trapped. I may bring expertise in OCD, but you bring expertise in yourself. My role is to join you as a partner in building the life you deserve.
After more than two decades of psychotherapy practice in Tulsa, my husband and I moved to Rogers, Arkansas, in 2020. Today, I maintain my Tulsa office while also practicing in Rogers. The demand for therapists trained in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) — the gold standard for OCD and phobias — remains high, so I hold clinical licenses in Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri to expand access to care. I see clients in person and through telehealth, with in-person sessions available Mondays and Wednesdays in Rogers, and virtual appointments Monday through Thursday.

What is OCD?
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder often shows up in late childhood — around ages 8 to 12 — or during the late teen and early adult years. It involves two main parts: obsessions, which are unwanted, intrusive thoughts, images, or urges that keep coming back, and compulsions, which are actions or mental rituals you feel you “have to” do to feel safer or prevent something bad from happening. These rituals can bring short-term relief, but over time they can take up more and more space in your life, making it harder to focus on what really matters to you.
What is a Phobia?
A phobia is an intense, irrational fear of a specific object, situation, or activity. The fear can be so strong that people go out of their way to avoid it — and sometimes it can trigger a sudden panic attack, even when there’s no real danger.
Common Phobia Themes
Animals – dogs, snakes, spiders, horses
Medical Procedures – needles, dental work, doctor visits, falls
Natural Environment – storms, heights, darkness, rain
Specific Situations – vomiting, flying, elevators, choking
